Lussac is a hamlet in the northwest of the town of St Cyprien. These are some houses grouped around the church dedicated to St Barthélémy. Lussac was once a parish in its own right, mentioned in the 14th century as an outbuilding of the Bigaroque castle.
Abandoned in the last century, the church lost its roof in the 1960s; it fell into ruin when a local donator decided to restore it. The church was rebuilt in 1980/1981.
By these modillons, by the simplicity of the plan and the general sobriety, the church St Barthélémy of Lussac is similar to many rural churches of the Romanesque Perigord.
