Overlooking a narrow valley, the castle of Gavaudun (11th - 13th century), is on top of a rocky spur 40 meters high. Visiting feels like attacking the keep going through the entrance carved in the rock and discover the amazing architecture of the fortress. 45mn tour, last tour 45 minutes before closing time.
